What food item would you miss the most if it were removed from your diet and recipes?

Cheese! I didn't realize how much I loved it until we had to stop using it.
Are you throwing or attending a holiday party this year? Any ideas/tips to share?
Yes.
Cook and bake something everyday at least a couple of weeks before the party. Less stress.
The Hidden Power of Kindness by Lawrence Lovasik. I've always thought of myself as a kind person, but whoa! This book really taught me just how unkind I am, sometimes to the people who are closest to me. I still read it every now and then, to remind myself of little things I can do/change to be more kind and charitable and loving to all I come in contact with. I learned about it from Transitions Trail (a curriculum that author and fellow homeschooling mom Elizabeth Foss put together for her teenage son), and I am ever so thankful that she put it there. I gave it as assigned reading to my teen, but I'd recommend it to adults as well. Catholic or not, there are lessons to be learned here. If everyone read this book and followed it, world peace wouldn't be that difficult to envision.
Hello Goodbye by the Beatles according to that link. I'm sure I'll recognize it if I heard it. At 21: Every Rose Has Its Thorns by Poison. Yikes. Not my type of song.
What am I doing with another blog???
I'm here mainly for the books. We'll see...
